The
ARGONFIRE system is a Gas Suppression System, basically this
means that upon detection of fire a gaseous agent(Argon) is
introduced into the atmosphere of the area under threat. This
has the effect of changing the composition of the gases in
that atmosphere, in other words it reduces the concentration
of Oxygen, the life of Fires.
By reducing the concentration of Oxygen
from the normal range of approximately 21% to a more reduced
range of 12-13% you "starve" the fire. This
immediately smothers any flame or combustion and allows the
safe handling of the problem, with no adverse collateral
damage to employees or equipment.

The
ARGONFIRE system is comprised of cylinders of Argon gas
maintained at pressure. These cylinders are linked using
computer operated control panels to a series of pipes and
nozzles. When a fire is detected by the control panels the gas
is released in a controlled manner to reduce the Oxygen
