The
ARGONFIRE System
The
ARGONFIRE system uses the fire extinguishant ARGON, an inert
gas to protect risks against fire with a "Total
Flooding" technique.
Argon
is a pure and natural gas present in the air, that produces no
reaction or corrosive decomposition products when it come into
contact with flames. Subsequently, Argon returns back in to
the atmosphere taking it's place in the natural cycle without
causing any environmental damage.
The
ARGONFIRE system consists essentially of one or more sets of
either 80ltr or 140ltr capacity cylinders extruded for high
pressure, the system is equipped to discharge quickly and
efficiently with use of a manometer, pneumatic actuator,
flexible discharge hose (with telescopic non return valve) and
pilot hose which connects the ARGONFIRE cylinders to a
nitrogen pilot cylinder. The pilot cylinder is fitted with a
manual actuator complete with solenoid, which initiates the
actuation of the ARGONFIRE system.
