cylinders @ 200bar), allows the system to be more compact and
cost effective than its competitors, with the up and coming
300bar system these advantages will be further enhanced. The
cylinders used by the ARGONFIRE system are subject to
retesting every ten years.
In
addition by using a pressure reducing manifold to 40-60bar, a
Vds approved software calculation prgramme determines the flow
rate of the extinguishant this resultant flow rate can then
allow for the re-use of existing halon and CO2 system pipework,
thereby reducing the installation costs further.
Safe
for your Employees.
The
ARGONFIRE System is designed to be safe for occupants within
and enclosure during discharge, the agent is usually
discharged within 1 minute of release. ARGONFIRE works
effectively in this manner by reducing the Oxygen
concentrations in the controlled area from 21% to 12-13%. This
"Hypoxic blend breathing"(O2@12%) has been shown in
medical reports to have no negative effect in healthy persons.
